Victoria Hill

Victoria is a passionate people leader with over 15 years of experience in the human resources space, specializing in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), Leadership Development, and Human Resources Management. Her work is grounded in one core principle: centering the human experience to foster authentic, inclusive relationships. As Vice President of Global People & Culture at Advanced Group, Victoria leads a dynamic global team overseeing Benefits, Payroll, HR, DE&I, Social Impact, and Learning & Development across North America and beyond. She plays a strategic role in shaping a culture where people thrive and purpose drives performance. Advanced Group delivers a broad range of services—including staffing, talent management, consulting, outsourcing, and clinical research—across multiple industries. Within this mission, Victoria and her team champion inclusive practices and develop programs that empower employees and support equitable, values-based decision-making. Outside of work, Victoria lives in Chicagoland with her husband, where they love to unwind by hosting lively karaoke parties with friends and family.

Amanda Brown

VP, Marketing & Communications, NAAAHR Chicago

Amanda Brown has held the position of Director of Human Resources at the City Treasurer’s Office since October 2022. With over 8 years of experience in the field of Human Resources, Amanda has a degree in journalism with a specialization in Integrated Marketing Communication and a minor in Psychology and Black American Studies. Her career in HR was inspired by her desire to support and assist employees both within and outside the workplace.

She is a strong advocate for fostering a 'Quality Employee Experience' within the workplace, emphasizing the importance of building trust, relationships, and addressing gaps within the organization.She has also been an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), demonstrating her commitment to staying current with industry trends and best practices in Human Resources.

Tanya McMorris

VP, Programming & Events, NAAAHR Chicago

Tanya is a seasoned Human Resources leader with 20 years of experience shaping people‑centered cultures, strengthening organizational performance, and developing leaders at every level. Her career blends deep expertise in employee relations, coaching, adult learning, and organizational development, allowing her to navigate complex workplace dynamics with clarity, empathy, and strategic insight.

Tanya holds a B.A. in Business Management from Columbia College Chicago, an M.B.A. in Human Resource Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and an M.S. in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from Walden University. She also earned an Entrepreneurship Certificate from Cornell University and maintains her PHR certification.

Known for her collaborative leadership style, Tanya builds trust quickly and creates environments where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow. She excels at designing coaching frameworks, developing leaders’ communication skills, and implementing HR practices that elevate engagement and accountability.

Across her two decades in the field, Tanya has partnered with executives, managers, and cross‑functional teams to drive culture transformation, streamline HR processes, and foster equitable, inclusive workplaces. She is motivated by the opportunity to help organizations strengthen their people systems, cultivate authentic leadership, and create conditions where teams can do their best work.

Marvin K. Throughout his career, Marvin has partnered with senior leadership to lead initiatives across talent strategy, organizational development, employee relations, and HR operations. Cicely Taylor

Cicely Taylor is an accomplished Human Resources executive and currently serves as Manager, Human Resources at AbbVie, supporting the Business Technology Solutions division. She leads people strategy, talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement initiatives. Throughout a career spanning biopharma, healthcare, and non-profit sectors, she has partnered with executive business leaders to build high-performing teams, strengthen leadership capabilities, and support enterprise growth through practical, people-centered solutions.

She has deep expertise in areas such as workforce and succession planning, change management, performance management, and culture transformation. Known for a collaborative, strategic leadership style and a strong commitment to integrity, Cicely has successfully guided organizations through periods of growth, transformation, and operational change while keeping employee experience and business outcomes at the forefront as a trusted advisor.

Keysha Taylor

VP, Collegiate Relations, NAAAHR Chicago

Keysha Taylor is currently the manager of talent and culture at the Paul M. Angell Family Foundation (PMAFF) in Chicago, IL. She spent her career working in general management in the hospitality industry before transitioning into nonprofit HR. She earned her master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA; where she was raised. Keysha is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and as a Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) through the Society of Human Resources Management.
